Some events of 2004

Site opened on January 6, 2004.

In 2004 Timo recorded his solo cd "update", which was published on September 3rd, 2004. For more info on this cd, please check the news.

In addition to throwing gigs with his own band, Timo performed with Jarmo Hynninen Band. These gigs featured, among others, Dana Fuchs (USA), Heikki Silvennoinen (FIN) and Pepe Ahlqvist (FIN).

"Taking it back", a new cd by Seppo Valjakka & Friends was published in May. Timo played on this record, as well as on the band's gigs. He also threw a few gigs with r&b / soul singer Niko Ahvonen & Cortina Jets.

During 2004 Timo played as a visiting artist on Husband's gig in the Art Goes Kapakka festival (Helsinki). There are some future plans for shared gigs with Timo's own band and Husband.

During this year Timo also performed with a group that played and sang Bob Dylan's music in Finnish. The group consisted of singer Veeti Kallio, actors / singers Ilkka Koivula and Dick Holmström, guitarist / pianist / singer Marzi Nyman, drummer Mikko Hassinen, percussionist Zarkus Poussa, and bassist Lauri Porra.

In addition to all of the above mentioned activities, for Timo year 2004 also meant few session gigs in a studio.
